It’s getting worse each passing day heart’s beating number as I pray for spring and warmth to thaw away the ice cold dread freezing my veins Don’t die too young, carry on don’t despair ‘Hold on’ that’s all I’m being told but every night gets colder and I need more than just a cover ‘hold on’ that’s all I can be told but every night gets blacker and I need more than just a lighter Obscurity is blinding me and I’m scared Won’t you forget my bitterness this heart of mine can hardly melt it’s gotten worse but that’s okay winter has come she’s here to stay.

about

Well it’s been a long train of fears,
parading on as I recall,
now stumbling up the mount of years,
soon I shall rise above them all !
My back is turned but still I hear,
the nether roar turn into jeer.
Thus moving on, slow and steady,
I keep an eye ever ready,
to spy on shapes hidden in clouds,
dancing like some infernal crowds.
The imps of murky infancy
or hazy teenage lunacy.
I used to shake; but now I feel bold,
musing o’er the SWEET GLOOM OF OLD !

Max&theSkarelingers Leeds, UK

Max&theSkraelingers (now Kildavibe*) was the story of a man struggling with suburban ennui, jamming alone in his room while dreaming of a vibrant local alternative scene. What Max did was recollect fragments of his life and try to polish them into something more epic than modern western middle class existence permits it. ... more
